More ITT Assets Up For Auction

Subscribe NowMore assets of Carmel-based ITT Educational Services Inc. are set to hit the auction block next month. New York-based Tiger Capital Group will hold online auctions for more than $10 million in furniture, fixtures and equipment from more than 100 ITT locations nationwide.
Tiger Group says the assets include electronic testing equipment, medical training equipment, computers, network and telecommunications equipment as well as office, lab and classroom furniture. The items have been consolidated into three warehouse facilities in Florida, Maryland and Oklahoma City.
The for-profit educational institution ceased operations in September, affecting more than 8,000 employees and about 40,000 students. At the time, ITT said its senior secured lender declared the company in default. ITT Educational Services had more than 1,000 students and 660 employees in Indiana.
Online bidding for the assets will begin Thursday, December 1. Bidding will close December 8 for the Florida assets, December 13 for the Maryland assets and December 15 for the Oklahoma assets.
