Westfield-based EdgeRock Development LLC would build the ambitious Grand Millennium Center project. Cook says construction could begin "pretty quickly" and take 3-4 years to complete.
Plans also call for office space that Cook says has already drawn interest from potential locators. City officials tell Inside INdiana Business Westfield land acquisition, engineering and construction costs relating to infrastructure work on Westfield Boulevard would cost around $7.2 million, which could be covered in part through land donations and state funds.
Cook says the property is situated in the "perfect location" and, despite being in early proposal stages, has attracted attention from investors. Grand Millennium Center would be located near Grand Park and connect to the city’s existing trail system.
The city hopes to provide more details next month once planned funding from the state is locked-in.
