The restaurant, which will be located on the northeast side of Indianapolis, is looking to hire 75 employees and will host a job fair this week.
The Indy location is the fifth to open in just over a year. The restaurant has four locations in Kentucky with another opening soon in Cincinnati.
"Indianapolis is a great city and we can’t wait to meet with members of the community interested in joining the Joella’s team," said Tony Palombino, chief executive officer of EAP Restaurant Concepts, the parent of Joella’s Hot Chicken. "We take pride in creating a fun and rewarding working environment by paying above average wages and empowering our employees, by allowing them to recognize and reward loyal customers as they see fit."
The job fair will take place November 14-18 from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the new location at 4715 E. 96th Street. The restaurant is looking to hire managers, cooks and cashiers, among other positions, which will pay up to $14.00 per hour.
While specific details have yet to be announced, Joella’s Hot Chicken is expected to hold grand opening festivities in early December.
