Newest Class Enters Military Hall of Fame

At a ceremony last week in Indianapolis, twelve were honored for their service to country and community. The hall was launched in 2013 and in September, officials broke ground on a permanent facility that is slated to open in Lawrence in the spring.
In 2014, the first class of 16 vets was enshrined. The organization is a nonprofit and has inducted a total of 46 vets from throughout the state in three years.
This year’s class includes:
- James M. Brown of Indianapolis
- James Chancellor of Lowell
- Harvey W. Cook (deceased) of Indianapolis
- George N. Craig (deceased) of Brazil
- Robert J. Dorshak (deceased) of Michigan City
- H. Troy Hanna (deceased) of Noblesville
- William A. Hoos, Jr. (deceased) of East Chicago
- Daniel Oates of Newburgh
- Edward Placencia of Garrett
- Michael E. Randall, Sr. (deceased) of Noblesville
- Thomas J. Scecina (deceased) of Linton
- Charles R. Williams (deceased) of Indianapolis
