The health care technology company says the $21.5 million expansion will result in more than 100 new jobs by 2020. The company provides medical management and maintenance platforms to more than 1,800 facilities throughout the world.
The company’s platform aims to help health care facilities manage medical equipment life cycles and medical device maintenance and repair. TriMedx expects to exceed $500 million in revenue for 2016. The new investment will cover training, infrastructure development and improvements and information technology hardware and software.
TriMedx currently employs 1,500 associates nationwide. The Indiana Economic Development Corp. says the new positions are expected to pay average salaries more than 80 percent higher than the state’s average wage.
The IEDC has offered TriMedx more than $1.3 million in conditional tax credits and training grants based on the job creation plans. The city of Indianapolis will offer work force assistance as well. The deal follows St. Louis-based Ascension Health announcing a partnership in April with TowerBrook Capital Partners involving "significant capital commitments" into TriMedx.
TriMedx was founded in Indianapolis as a division of St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
