Todd Probert says few improvements have been made to the Raytheon Analysis & Test Laboratory since it was constructed in the 1940s as a U.S. Navy Avionics test lab. A two-year round of work is now complete and will facilitate the consolidation of some of Raytheon’s East Coast operations, as well as result in up to 250 Indiana jobs. Probert, who is a Purdue University graduate, says many Indiana college graduates are part of the company’s talent pool.
Work includes more modern technology to improve the "look and feel" of communications capabilities, visual displays and workspaces and he says the changes will help "make it a great place to work" to help the company look to the future. Probert says other efficiency and production improvements will help Raytheon continue to stay competitive in an ever-shifting manufacturing environment.
