The nonprofit coworking and entrepreneurial hub is launching its new space at the historic Morrison Opera House in downtown Indy.
Originally announced in February, the organization said it had outgrown its original location in Broad Ripple and was "looking to scale" in a downtown space. Executive Director Danielle McDowell will be joined by Deputy Mayor Angela Smith-Jones and representatives from founding partners NexTech and Butler University.
When the downtown location was made official in May, The Speak Easy said it would focus on growing and scaling businesses, in addition to early-stage ventures. McDowell said at the time the investment into the downtown property would total around $500,000.
