The Grand Park Events Center will host the biannual Whale of a Sale each of the next three years.
The event includes more than 42,000 square feet of toys, furniture and clothing for children. The first event at Grand Park will take place May 9-13, 2017 with another event coming in September. Grand Park has signed on to host the event through 2019.
"We’re excited to have found a permanent home with an excellent opportunity for growth," said Courtney O’Neil, co-founder of Whale of a Sale. "This venue is the perfect location for our large fan base of families in Hamilton County. We know the Grand Park Events Center will increase our event attendance with all of the traffic from the various sports leagues at Grand Park."
Juergen Sommer, executive director of the Grand Park Events Center says bringing in an event such as Whale of a Sale shows that the facility is not limited to just hosting sporting events. The 370,000 square-foot facility opened in July.
