New Camp Atterbury Facilities Focus on Wellness

The Army Wellness Center, which is the signature piece of the new Indiana Resilience Campus at Camp Atterbury, is part of a more than $500,000 investment.
The campus includes facilities and services that are open to those currently serving, transitioning former service members, retirees, civilians who work for the Department of the Army and their family.
The Army Wellness Center, which Public Affairs Officer Major Benjamin Tooley calls the Army Wellness Center "the center piece" of the campus initiative. The U.S. Army and the Indiana National Guard say the campus will help address "reoccurring issues within its ranks that undermine mission readiness." In addition to the center, it also includes Resilience Services, Fitness and Wellness, Service Member for Life and Guarding Your Future programs. It offers services involving health, spiritual, mental, educational and career well-being.
