The jobs are mostly customer service and sales positions that Renaissance is aiming to fill by the end of the year. President Robert Mulligan says "this expansion is yet another indicator of the sustained, long-term investment we are making to assure that we can meet the increasing demand for ancillary insurance coverage."
Some of the new hires will be housed at a new Renaissance office in Southport. The company says the additional employees will more than double its current work force. Renaissance is launching new Medicare Supplement plans in states including Arizona, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Nebraska, Nevada, Rhode Island, Texas and Utah and expanding its state insurance exchanges in many markets, including Indiana. It has also recently opened group sales offices in Texas and Nevada.
