Subscribe NowThe Community Foundation of Northwest Indiana has promoted John Doherty to vice president of therapy services, sports medicine and occupational health. In his new role, Doherty will oversee multiple departments throughout the healthcare system.
Doherty will be responsible for therapy services, audiology, concussion clinic, athletic training and occupational health at all of CFNI’s facilities, including Community Hospital in Munster, St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago and St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart. He previously served as regional director of outpatient rehabilitation and sports medicine at CFNI.
"With his experience and background in sports medicine, high school and college athletic training programs and the Concussion Clinics, John has valuable insight into the growing needs of both the youth and adults of the community," said Donald Fesko, chief executive officer of Community Foundation of Northwest Indiana Inc. "His expertise and knowledge will help us further enhance the patient experience in Therapy Services."
Doherty joined CFNI in 2011 as coordinator and director of Community Hospital’s Concussion Clinic.
