Indiana Colleges Rank High in ‘College Guide’

The annual College Guide from Washington Monthly rates schools "based on their contribution to the public good."
It measures schools in three categories: Social Mobility, which involves low-income student recruiting and graduation, Research, which involves "producing cutting-edge scholarship and PhDs," and Service, which involves encouraging students to give back. The publication has also debuted its ranking of the best colleges for adult learners. Other ranking categories include Best Colleges for Adult Learners, National Universities, Best Bang for the Buck.
