In a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the bank says it will also acquire other currently-leased bank properties in Booneville and Henderson, Kentucky in deals worth a total of nearly $100 million.
The acquisitions are expected to close in the third quarter. The Old National Bank parent signed its current lease agreement for the high-rise overlooking the Ohio River in 2006. The Booneville and Henderson locations have been leased from their respective landlords since 2007.
Old National says the acquisitions will provide greater control, allow the properties to be reported on its balance sheet and further efficient efforts.
