Indianapolis-based GreenLight Collectibles has announced the purchase of First Response Replicas. The acquisition marks the third marketplace move for the die-cast car manufacturer since 2014.

In a release, GreenLight Collectibles President Russell Hughes said he jumped at the opportunity to land First Response.

“It was a logical move for GreenLight as a complement to our existing Hot Pursuit police car range in 1:64 scale," said Hughes. "And we look forward to incorporating many of our entertainment licenses and high profile police departments into the line to continue building on the market niche carved out by First Response”.

GreenLight says the acquisition will allow it to offer a variety of new product lines that will appeal to a wider audience. Some of the First Response Replica models include police cars from the 2009 hit movie The Hangover and the popular AMC series The Walking Dead.
