‘Road to One Million’ Names Director
Galbraith says he is "incredibly humbled and honored" to take on the new position.

Michael Galbraith most recently served as executive director of ARCH Inc., Fort Wayne’s nonprofit historic architecture preservation group.
Galbraith will oversee the Road to One Million plan, which is an effort to grow the population of northeast Indiana. The initiative includes more than 70 projects and $1.5 billion in investment over the next 10 years. It was developed by the Northeast Indiana Regional Development Authority as part of the Regional Cities Initiative.
Galbraith says he is "incredibly humbled and honored" to take on the new position. In a release, he said, "This plan presents such an enormous opportunity for Northeast Indiana to improve our quality of place and how we’re perceived as a region. I look forward to working with the Regional Partnership team and the RDA Board."
Earlier this week, the Northeast Indiana RDA voted to support multiple college campus projects connected to the Regional Cities Initiative. They include $2.8 million for renovations to two buildings at the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne and $2.8 million for the planned Thunder Ice Arena at Trine University in Angola.
