Subscribe NowTrine University has appointed Timothy Tyler dean of the Allen School of Engineering & Technology in the College of Engineering and Business. He has worked in the civil engineering department at Trine for 21 years. Tyler has chaired the department for three years and has served as associate dean of the Allen School of Engineering and Technology. He previously worked as a project engineer for consulting firms in Virginia and North Carolina. He has served as a part time consulting engineer at Patriot Engineering and Environmental Inc. for 17 years. Tyler earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in civil engineering from West Virginia University and a Ph.D. from Virginia Tech.
