IU Health Goshen Creates New Position

IU Health Goshen says Koronkiewicz will support medical staff in fulfilling the hospital’s mission and achieving excellence in quality patient care. While serving in his new role, Koronkiewicz will maintain his orthopedic practice and continue seeing patients at the IU Health Goshen Physicians Orthopedics and Sports Medicine office.
"The position of Medical Director of Quality gives me the unique opportunity to work with outstanding people in providing the best care, at the best time with each patient’s best interest in mind," said. Koronkiewicz. "Maintaining the high standards of patient quality and safety at IU Health Goshen will be the major focus of my new role."
Koronkiewicz has been a part of the IU Health system for more than 20 years. He serves as medical director of the IU Health Goshen Physicians Orthopedics and Sports Medicine office.
The announcement comes just days after IU Health Goshen selected Julie Crossley to serve as chief nursing officer.
