Governor Mike Pence is set to make an announcement Thursday afternoon regarding the 21st Century Scholars Program. The announcement will take place at the University Hall Theater on the campus of Indiana State University.

Pence will be joined by former governor Evan Bayh. The announcement is scheduled for 5:00. 

In March, the Indiana Commission for Higher Education released a report that said the number of 21st Century Scholar completing 30 credit hours per year increased by 23.4 percent at four-year colleges and 24.2 percent at two-year institutions.
