Mayor Tom Henry has previously said a 5,000-seat arena could cost as much as $63 million to build.
Mayor Henry will join the Downtown Arena Committee at Sweetwater Sound this afternoon at 1:00 to announce the recommendations.
A previous study by Hunden Strategic Partners suggested Fort Wayne could support the arena. At the time, Henry said the venue could build on downtown momentum created by attractions like Parkview Field and housing projects. The arena would join venues in the city including the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum, which seats 10,000 people.
