Lids Team Sports Acquired By Texas Company

Lids Team Sports sells athletic apparel and equipment to schools and youth sports programs. BSN says the acquisition will enhance its ability to provide service to institutions, teams and leagues throughout the nation.

Blumenfeld will serve as CEO of the combined group. Scott Molander, who leads Lids Team Sports’ operation, and all of the company’s employees will join BSN. No near-term changes are planned for customers, vendors, employees or business partners, according to BSN.
