Deaconess Health System has selected Jared Florence as its vice president of business development. Florence joined Deaconess in April 2012 as director of business development.

The health system says he has been an integral part of developing its regional strategy and partnerships with many of the surrounding community hospitals.

In his new role, Florence will oversee many aspects within the health system, including marketing, advertising and outreach, service line development, the oncology product line, surgery business operations, sleep medicine, respiratory services, palliative care, home medical equipment, patient satisfaction and visitor relations.
