Grand Park to Toast New Fieldhouse

Subscribe NowA grand opening ceremony is set Tuesday for the only privately-owned facility at Grand Park in Westfield. The 88,000 square-foot Jonathan Byrd’s Fieldhouse features eight courts for volleyball, basketball and futsal.
The event will feature Westfield Mayor Andy Cook and former Muncie Central High School, Ball State University and NBA basketball standout Bonzi Wells, who currently serves as Grand Park director of basketball operations.
The FUTSAL Indy Winter Cup January 9th and 10th will be the first competitive event at the new fieldhouse.
Another indoor sports facility on the 400-acre campus, a $20 million, 370,000 square-foot soccer complex, is set to open early next year.
