Kevin Sauer said he and his brother have been attending races at the speedway since their father raced there. He said they plan on making changes to the track to make the experience more family friendly.
"We hope to provide a fun and friendly atmosphere with respectable drivers and clean racing," Sauer said. "We will do our part to get this track known as the track to go to for family fun."
The speedway’s Facebook page says racing at the track will continue in 2016. Schedules for the track’s demolition derby series have already been posted to the track’s web site.
