The grand opening for a makerspace in Muncie is set for next week. GearBox: Muncie – A Maker Hub, is a project of the Sustainable Muncie Corp. and is located in a former Cintas building.

The hub has been backed by several public and private partners including primary sponsor MutualBank. Other supporters include the Muncie Redevelopment Commission, the Muncie Downtown Development Partnership, Ball State University and the Innovation Connector.
