Anderson Birkla says the Proscenium will also include more than 1,000 spaces of surface and underground garage parking.
Birkla presented details of the project Monday night to the Carmel City Council. The 60,000 square-foot project in Carmel’s redevelopment area will include more than 200 luxury residential units. The seven-acre site will feature six new buildings.
In addition to the office, residential and retail space, the Proscenium will also include a "Town Green" public space for gatherings and recreational activities.
Anderson Birkla Principal Anthony Birkla says the Proscenium will stand "at the forefront of what our beautiful city has already accomplished, and will continue to do in the near future."
The Carmel Redevelopment Commission has approved the purchase of the property. The developer still needs City Council approval for certain financing aspects of the project.
