The $170,000 project involves upgrades to the mound where the Steuben County landmark to honor Civil War soldiers is located.
The work included improved curbs, landscaping and irrigation, as well as relocated street lights.
The roadway around the monument opened in early October and officials said renovations to "the Mound," as it is nicknamed, will shore up the monument and create a "safer, more stable home."
A plaque on the monument lists nearly 1,300 men who fought in the Civil War, which is more per capita than any other county in the state. The city says it was last renovated in 1993.
The ceremony will feature remarks from officials including Angola Mayor Richard Hickman is set for 4 p.m. at the city center’s southeast quadrant.
