Dozens of Projects Score USDA Solar Grants

The funding, which totals nearly $1.5 million for Indiana small businesses or agricultural producers, is part of a nationwide energy efficiency initiative.
More than 1,100 projects throughout the states, the Virgin Islands, the Western Pacific and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico have secured funding in the form of grants or low-interest loans from the Rural Energy for America Program.
In total, the USDA is providing more than $100 million in loan guarantees and over $71 million in grants.
