North Central Indiana Small Business Development Center Director Alan Steele has received the State Star Award at America’s SBDC Conference. The professional development conference was recently held in San Francisco. The event featured more than 100 workshops, training sessions and meetings for SBDC participants.

"Time and time again, Alan Steele demonstrates the willingness to seek out and cultivate the opportunities and successes with both clients and partners, helping to grow Indiana’s robust SBDC network," ISBDC State Director Jacob Schpok said.

Steele has been with the ISBDC since February 2008.
