The school will inaugurate Robert Pastoor during a ceremony October 16. The event will be held in the Saint Joseph’s Chapel from 1:30 p.m. – 3:15 pm CDT.
Pastoor began his term at SJC in March.
“My immediate plans are to work on introducing on-line education, strengthening our Master’s level programs, researching potential new undergraduate academic programs, increasing the overall number of students and, in particular, the number of international students on campus, developing a Strategic Plan that will serve as a blueprint for the next four to five years, and greatly increasing our fundraising in order to meet the financial challenges that we face,” Pastoor said.
He previously served as the vice president for student life at Marietta College in Ohio. Pastoor holds degrees from the University of Montana, McDaniel College and Mount St. Mary’s University.
