Millennials Seek Better Transit, More Engagement

A new study on Millennials in Indianapolis shows a vast majority like living in the city, but still see room for improvement. The report from IndyHub and Achieve shows nearly 90 percent of Millennials surveyed have a favorable view of Indianapolis, with around two-thirds saying they are very likely or extremely likely to stay in the city. The study suggests respondents would like the city to focus on improving in areas including public transit, civic engagement by businesses and arts and culture.

IndyHub Executive Director Molly Chavers says the results will be made available to Indianapolis businesses and residents. She says the organization will use the information to guide its planning and programming. IndyHub bills itself as "an advocate for Indy’s twenty-/thirty-somethings, providing a resource and space to learn about and become a part of this city."
