Jobs Announcements Set in Kokomo, Fort Wayne

Governor Mike Pence is set to join executives from Fort Wayne-based Excellon Technologies this afternoon for an economic development announcement, and Kokomo Mayor Greg Goodnight will be on-hand this morning as a manufacturer details plans to bring new life to a vacant factory in the city.
The Kokomo announcement is set for 10:30 a.m. The city says the move is part of a trend for the return of manufacturing jobs to Kokomo.
The Fort Wayne event is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at the Excellon Technologies headquarters on Sherman Boulevard in Fort Wayne.
The company currently has more than 60 associates. Its products include speed and position sensing assemblies, defense communication/power cable assemblies and electro-mechanical assemblies. Excellon says its customers include Exelis, BAE Systems and NYC Transit.
