A realty website says Muncie is the most affordable college town in the United States. Realtor.com, which ranked more than 300 college towns, reports the median home price in the Delaware County city is just under $78,000.

The site ranks the most affordable college towns as:

1. Muncie, Indiana (Ball State University)
2. Charleston, Illinois (Eastern Illinois University)
3. Macomb, Illinois (Western Illinois University)
4. Kirksville, Missouri (Truman State University)
5. Big Rapids, Michigan (Ferris State University)
6. Kalamazoo, Michigan (Western Michigan University)
7. Cortland, New York (State University of New York)
8. Carbondale, Illinois (Southern Illinois University)
9. Carrollton, Georgia (University of West Georgia)
10. Urbana-Champaign, Illinois (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign)
