The agreement brings the degree, which allows registered nurses to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, to Glen Oaks Community College in Centerville, Michigan.
The schools say more hospitals are requiring nurses to have BSN degree, leaving many nurses returning to school while working full-time. Goshen College says its RN to BSN program allows students to take one weekly class year-round and complete the degree in 19 months.
Students must have an active Indiana or Michigan nursing license to enroll, with clinical hours typically completed at their place of employment. Goshen College says 100 percent of this year’s graduates of the program passed the National Council Licensure Examination to receive nursing licenses. The school says it has graduated more than 300 nurses through the program.
The college also offers RN to BSN at Elkhart General Hospital.
