Bill Stanczykiewicz to Head IU’s Fundraising School

Indiana University has appointed Bill Stanczykiewicz director of The Fundraising School at its Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. He is currently chief executive officer of the Indiana Youth Institute. Stanczykiewicz succeeds Tim Seiler, who is stepping down after more than 20 years. Stanczykiewicz will take the helm of the professional development program and oversee its team of more than 50 faculty members. He will also be a senior lecturer in philanthropic studies at the school.

Before coming to the Indiana Youth Institute, he worked as community renewal policy director for the Indianapolis mayor's office and served as an aide to Senator Dan Coats.

The Fund Raising School is a nationally-recognized resource for fundraisers, volunteers and nonprofit leaders. Its programs have been taught on six continents and it has a global network of more than 43,000 alumni. Stanczykiewicz will oversee the program's 10-course, research-based curriculum.

“Bill is a proven chief executive, a seasoned fundraiser and a passionate spokesperson for the unique value The Fund Raising School brings to each nonprofit it serves,” said Amir Pasic, dean of the school, in a news release issued by the school.

IU says The Fundraising School has been taught on six continents over its more than 40-year history. Its global network includes more than 43,000 alumni.
