Beer Production Bill Moves Forward

Subscribe NowA bill that would raise Indiana's small brewer production cap to 90,000 barrels per year has cleared another hurdle. Senate Bill 297 now heads to the full House after receiving approval in the House Public Policy Committee. Indiana's two largest breweries, Munster-based Three Floyds Brewing Co. and Sun King Brewing Co. in Indianapolis, have led the charge for the measure, saying they have had to pull back some self-distribution in the state because of the limit.
