Financial terms of the deal are not being disclosed, but a spokesperson for System Scale said all 35 of Premier’s employees will be retained.
System Scale provides a variety of weight scales for the agriculture, manufacturing, and food and beverage industries, among others. Premier also provides industrial calibration services for the same industries.

“As a 100% employee-owned company, our growth and success are a direct result of the dedication and hard work of our employee-owners,” System Scale CEO Mike Sale said in a news release. “With 18 locations, including two state-of-the-art calibration labs throughout the Midwest, South, and Gulf Coast, we look forward to providing even greater value to our customers with the expanded resources and expertise now available to us.”
