Right at Home said the new location would represent its eighth territory in Indiana.
The company provides personal care and nursing services to seniors and adults with disabilities as well as specialty care to people with conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease. Based in Omaha, it has more than 700 franchise locations in the United States and abroad.
“Right at Home starts with our passionate franchise owners, and we’re excited to partner with someone in Evansville,” Jennifer Chaney, vice president of franchise development, said in a news release. “We are seeking passionate individuals who aren’t just looking for a business to make a living. Entrepreneurs should choose Right at Home to make a positive impact on their communities and the people for whom they provide care.”
A spokesperson for Right at Home said an Evansville franchise could create up to 20 jobs in the area.
An Evansville franchise would add to nearly 30 new franchise locations in the past year, the company said. Right at Home has two franchise locations in Indianapolis, as well as locations in Brownsburg, Clarksville, Merrillville, South Bend, and Valparaiso.
The home health care industry is expected to surge in the coming years as the size of the elderly population grows. Employment, according to one gauge of the sector, is expected to grow 21% over the next decade, much faster than average, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
