The company declined to provide financial terms of the acquisition.
Located on Sandpiper Lane, the facility offers an array of nursing, rehabilitation services and long-term care solutions. Building on its “small-home concept” and increasing clinical outcomes would be a central focus for the facility, the new owner said in a news release.
“We are thrilled to announce our acquisition of The Laurels of Goshen, a decision that reflects our commitment to providing exceptional care and support to the community,” Euson Lindsay Health CEO Matt Euson said. “This facility embodies our mission at Euson Lindsay Health to enhance the quality of life for our residents and we are eager to integrate our innovative approaches to care here.”
With facilities in Whitestown and Carmel, the company said it was drawn to the Goshen facility because it closely aligned with their belief that skilled nursing should be non-institutional and driven by increased care giver ratios in a home-like setting.
The Restoracy Goshen currently has 85 employees, and Euson said the number is likely to go up as the facility expands service to include in-house therapy.
As part of the expansion, the company will also build a dedicated therapy gym, a new food service and storage facility and will undertake an office remodel. Nursing, therapy, kitchen and laundry equipment will be upgraded.
The rebranded facility offers six homes, 12 residents per home and 48 dually licensed Medicare and Medicaid beds. Euson said the facility runs close to full.
Euson Lindsay Health’s Restoracy communities are designed to promote stronger caregiver relationships and enhance the quality of life for residents, the company said. The Restoracy offers both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care.
