Irish manufacturer opens first North American facility in Michigan City

The company manufactures electronic control and automation equipment for the compressed air industry.
Details of the company’s financial investment in the new facility were not disclosed.
“Powerflow’s North America facility signifies our commitment to meet the growing demands of our long-time customers there and continue to serve them,” CEO Fergal Power said in a news release. “Our USA facility will provide a strategic base for us to extend the reach of our industry-leading products and services.”
Powerflow’s product portfolio includes electronic controls for industrial filtration, irrigation, agriculture, and wastewater treatment operations.
This expansion is not only a testament to Powerflow’s continuing growth but also to the commitment to innovation and pioneering solutions for our customers,” Vice President of Global Business Development Mark McCullagh said. “We are ready to steer this new chapter of operational growth and customer engagement.”
The company did not specify how many jobs are being added at the new facility. Multiple requests for more information from Inside INdiana Business were not returned.
