Floyd County businesses receive small business loans

Subscribe NowAn animal feed store, a restaurant, a medical transportation provider and an insurance agency are each recipients of the Caesars Foundation of Floyd County Small Business Revolving Loan Fund, One Southern Indiana announced Monday.
The loans aim to help established businesses in Floyd County expand operations and increase or retain employees. One Southern Indiana is the economic development organization and chamber of commerce serving Clark and Floyd counties.
Floyd Farm and Feed of Georgetown will expand its operations to include a new building for the provider of farming materials and livestock and animal feed and supplies.
Platform Dining & Lounge LLC of New Albany will elevate its dining and entertainment experience.
P.U.S.H. Transportation LLC of New Albany is a family-owned provider of non-emergency medical transportation.
CXE Insurance of New Albany is a locally owned and operated provider of insurance to clients in Indiana and Kentucky.
“The Caesars Foundation encourages economic development in Floyd County, and small businesses are the heart of our community,” Executive Director Josh Kornberg said in the news release. “We look forward to watching these businesses grow.”
The loans range from $5,000 to $50,000 with a maximum interest rate less than prime. The maximum terms are 10 years for land and building loans, five years for equipment loans and two years for working capital loans.
