River Ridge begins negotiations for 23-acre land sale

The organization said a potential buyer is looking to build a 150,000-square-foot industrial building on the site.
Executive Director Jerry Acy is leading the negotiations for the site, located along Salem Road in the River Ridge Commerce Center. The RRDA set a 60-day window for the execution of a purchase and sale agreement.
Details on the potential buyer, its plans for the facility, and an estimated purchase price for the land were not disclosed.
The RRDA board also approved a $1.3 million contract for Excel Excavating Inc. to extend 1,700 feet of access road and drainage infrastructure near the business park’s headquarters building to serve future tenants.
