The proceeds from the auction will benefit the North Spencer Community Action Center.
The Spencer County theme park first detailed plans for the rollercoaster last August, noting that the family boomerang coaster will be the first of its kind to open in North America.
The coaster will feature a train shaped like a giant gravy boat that will be pulled backwards uphill before flying through the station on a cranberry-colored track. The nearly 1,500-foot-long ride will hit a maximum speed of 37 miles per hour.
The auction is now open, and people can bid for the ten coaches of the coaster. The ceremonial first rides will take place on May 3, and the auction winners will receive first-ride certificates and two tickets for a future visit to Holiday World.
The auction will run through April 19 at 12 p.m. Central Time. You can learn more about the auction by clicking here.
The North Spencer Community Action Center provides social services to residents throughout Spencer County, including food and clothing donations, health care, utility assistance and educational programs.
