NUVO Newsweekly newsstands are popping up in Monroe County. The Indianapolis-based publication will be available at 20 Bloomington locations. August 29, 2014

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — NUVO Newsweekly, Indy’s Alternative Voice, is heading to Bloomington. Starting August 28, weekly issues of NUVO can be found in over 20 locations in Bloomington every Thursday.

As a special kick-off to the Bloomington distribution, this week’s issue includes The Fall Arts Guide.

NUVO Publisher Kevin McKinney said of the expansion, “Our readers have been asking us for years to come to Bloomington and with the rising level of cultural and economic interchange with Indianapolis, we think now is the time.”
