Price, an Evansville native, has over a decade of experience in the banking and mortgage lending industry, including as a senior mortgage loan officer at Liberty Federal Credit Union. She also has spent time in not-for-profit leadership roles specifically serving underserved communities.
“Taylor is excited to leverage her diverse skill set to make financing more accessible for underserved and under-resourced communities in the Evansville Region,” the organization said in a LinkedIn post.
CDFI Friendly America is a not-for-profit organization that aims to help bridge the gap between community development financial institutions and potential borrowers. Community development financial institutions—or CDFIs—specialize in providing loans to people and communities that are historically under-resourced and under-valued.
Evanvillle’s chapter started gaining momentum last summer and was officially named a member of CDFI Friendly America late last year.
