Indiana companies among ‘Best Midsize Employers’

Subscribe NowForbes is out with its 2024 list of “America’s Best Midsize Employers, and eight Indiana-based companies are included. The publication, in partnership with research firm Statista, compiled the list based on a survey of more 170,000 U.S.-based workers.
Midsize employers are defined by Forbes as those with between 1,000 and 5,000 employees. Survey respondents were asked to rate their employer and if they would recommend their employer to others.
Forbes said responses were given by current employees, employees who had worked for the company within the past two years, and individuals familiar with the company through friends, family or peers in their industry.
However, greater weight was given to evaluations from current and former employees, the publication said.
The Indiana representatives included among the 600 organizations with the highest scores are:
- 18. Noblesville Schools
- 22. Hendricks Regional Health (Danville)
- 77. Barnes & Thornburg (Indianapolis)
- 118. KAR Global (Carmel)
- 145. BMWC Constructors (Indianapolis)
- 275. Old National Bank (Evansville)
- 325. Executive Management Services (Greenfield)
- 351. Allied Solutions (Carmel)
The top five companies on the list are California State University, Edgewell Personal Care (Missouri), Alzheimer’s Association (Illinois), Businessolver (Iowa), and Jupiter Medical Center (Florida).
