The publication compiled its ranking based on five key categories: engagement, peer assessment, faculty credentials and training, student excellence, and services and technologies.
The Kelley School maintained its No. 1 ranking on the 2024 list. Dean Ash Soni said in a news release that the ranking is reflective of the school’s effort to continue moving the bar higher.
“Because everything we do is developed and delivered by our own faculty and staff, our students get a unique, personalized education that includes real-time classes and in-person immersion experiences on campus and on location around the world,” Soni said. “Our thoughtful attention to programming is reflected in our multiple top rankings in specialty categories.”
The Kelley School was also named to the top of the “Best Online MBA” list from business education website Poets&Quants last fall.
The other Indiana schools in the top 250 from U.S. News are:
- No. 22 (tie): Ball State University – Miller College of Business
- No. 74 (tie): Valparaiso University
- No. 94 (tie): University of Southern Indiana
- No. 159 (tie): Butler University – Lacy School of Business
- No. 193 (tie): Indiana State University
Nationally, the top five online MBA programs also include Carnegie Mellon University, the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, the University of Southern California, and the University of Washington.
