Franklin Electric subsidiary acquires groundwater distribution company

As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowFort Wayne-based Franklin Electric Co. Inc. announced this week that its subsidiary, Headwater Companies LLC, has acquired LCA Pump LLC, based in Springfield, Missouri.
Financial terms of the deal for the company, which does business as Water Works Pump, are not being disclosed.
Water Works Pump was founded in 1993 and provides groundwater products and service to customers in Missouri as well as parts of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Kansas.
The acquisition closed on Dec. 31. Water Works will continue to operate as a branch of Headwater Wholesale LLC, a subsidiary of Headwater Companies.
“The addition of Water Works aligns with Headwater’s dedication to extending its reach, ensuring exceptional service, and reinforcing support for contractors and drillers in the Midwest,” Headwater Companies President DeLancey Davis said in a news release. “This strategic move marks Headwater’s inaugural venture into the Missouri market, aligning with our overarching goal of becoming the leading distributor of water systems solutions in the United States.”
Headwater Companies is a collection of distributors focused on groundwater, wastewater, water treatment and other products and services.
It was not clear if any jobs would be affected by the acquisition. Franklin Electric did not respond to a request for more information from Inside INdiana Business.
