Bloomington opens clinic for city employees

The city of Bloomington cut the ribbon this week on a new health clinic for its employees.
Denver-based Everside Health runs the clinic located at 514 W. Second St., and all city employees and their families on the city’s health insurance plan can receive care.
“Health care is difficult to access in the Bloomington area, with patients sometimes having to wait weeks or months for an appointment,” Mayor John Hamilton said in a news release. “This clinic will improve access to health care for City employees and their families, saving time and money, and promoting health, wellness, and positive outcomes.”
The clinic is open for walk-ins and scheduled appointments both in person and virtually. They provide primary and preventive care, vaccines, labs, physicals, treatment for mental illness as well as fitness and nutritional coaching.
Everside also has locations in Bedford, Indianapolis, Martinsville, Seymour and Terre Haute.
