The group is holding a job fair from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Commission Row Hiring Center located at 157 E. Maryland Street.
The group is hiring servers, back of house staff, event staff and other positions. Full-time staff will have access to full benefits, 401K, life insurance, disability and dining discounts, Cunningham said.
“To say it takes a village is an understatement,” Founder and CEO Mike Cunningham said in a news release. “We are excited to build a team for these critical positions as soon as possible and to open what we believe will be one of the best dining and entertainment venues in the Midwest.”
Interested applicants can apply ahead of time online. Interviews will be by appointment only thereafter.
Commission Row, through a partnership with Pacers Sports & Entertainment, will have 30,000 square feet of dining and entertainment space, including a steakhouse, a basement speakeasy and an upstairs special event space.
The venue is expected to open to the public on Jan. 22, less than a month before the 2024 NBA All-Star Game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
Cunningham was tapped to manage the space in March, as reported by our partners at the IBJ. The restaurant will seat about 220 people, and the upstairs space, known as Above at Commission Row, will seat up to 260 people for weddings, corporate parties and other events.
The building is being developed on a former surface parking lot between the fieldhouse and an existing building at the southwest corner of Delaware and Maryland streets. It will be directly east of the Bicentennial Unity Plaza that was completed earlier this year.
