Huizenga Group Automation has taken on Adaptek Systems and API Alliance as a part of a company strategy to expand its automation portfolio.
Adaptek is an assembly engineering firm with 20,000 square feet in design, production and testing space. API Alliance manufactures custom electronics, electronic controls and electro-mechanical assemblies.
Joe DePrisco, the former owner of Adaptek and API Alliance, said in a news release that the acquisition fits both companies’ plans for continued growth.

Huizenga Group Automation was established in 2021 and serves industries ranging from automotive and pharmaceutical to food and consumer goods.
“We are extremely happy to announce this investment and partnership with the management teams of both Adaptek Systems and API Alliance,” Huizenga Group CEO Steve Klotz said in the news release. “Joe and his team have developed two great organizations, and we look forward to seeing the companies continue to grow and provide additional services for their customers and opportunities for their employees.”
